Use of the Ecological Coloured Plaster (kourasani) “Gaias Texni”
The Ecological Coloured Plaster (kourasani) is ideal for both indoors and outdoors use.
It is easy to apply like common plaster. It is used as the top coat and no paint is necessary while it allows the walls to “breath”. The thickness of the layer should be between 0.3 and 0.4 cm.
If plaster has already been applied to the wall, the Ecological Paint Range “Gaias Texni” can be used instead. The paints are fundamentally fine – grained kourasani (up to 0.5 mm grains) and can be applied on top of the existing plaster coating.
Furthermore, it can be used for walls, floors, steps, bathrooms with the technique of patito (Santorini stucco) which in addition to grate durability has a distinctive aesthetic appeal.

Various ways of applying kourasani produce various results: A smooth surface resembling stucco veneziano, an aged surface or even a rough surface in traditional Greek island style.
