The Ecological coloured plaster of “Gaias Texni” is a natural traditional plaster finish better – known as “Roman mortar” or “kourasani”.

It is easy to apply like common plaster.

It is used as the top coat and needs no further painting, thus reducing the cost of construction.

Thanks to its special ingredients can resist excess moisture and adverse conditions (frost, proximity to the sea etc). Walls plastered with kourasani need minimum maintenance and their colours do not fade or peel since they are contained in the body of the plaster.

Furthermore, to the material’ s practical advantages should be added its distinctive look and aesthetic appeal. Kourasani looks hand-made and earthy, its surface is not flat but shows shading and varied hues.

If plaster has already been applied to the wall, the Ecological Paint Range “Gaias Texni” can be used instead. The paints are fundamentally fine – graind kourasani (up to 0.5mm grains) and can be applied on top of the existing plaster coating.

Furthermore, a specialised workshop can undertake the application of a mortar layer which increases the durability and moisture resistance of coatings
